A nice place. Very LA to me, no live music.  They have happy hour and free appetizers to go with them. Nice place to hook up after work , and of course lots of pretty boys and good looking people, which is always nice to be around. The music is good and good video's.  I like to take my out of town guest here for fun. .........

I don't know if I can find the words to properly describe this amazing-ass establishment. Basically, it's like this. If you're looking for a leisurely evening of "catching up" with friends, or to act sophisticated while sipping a scotch on-the-rocks.......take your ass somewhere else. Now, if you're looking to dance your FACE off and be so mesmerized by the phat beats being thrown down by a string of soul-owning DJ's, that you could care LESS about slamming booze, then this is your joint! My God, just thinking about being at BB makes my heart palpitate so fiercely that it feels as though it's about five seconds away from busting through my rib cage to break dance on the desktop that rests beneath this monitor. No joke, you will dance, and sweat, until your body goes numb. Then, the night will magically transition into an "out of body" experience allowing you to watch yourself get swallowed in by the intense reverberations that make music an actual experience, not just something that delights your ears. Do it.

Oh, Sullivan Room, you are so mysterious! I walked past you three times until I finally figured out (err, rather, the lovely Susan C. finally figured out) that this was indeed the place we were headed to for the rateclubs Event! I felt like I was going to the speakeasy during prohibition. You walk in what looks like an abandoned building or something, then around a corner and down a few steps... suddenly you're in a swinging nightclub and bar! I like the openness of the place, and the fact that you can come with a big group and NOT be pressed together with friends and strangers alike like sardines in a can! There is a good amount of seating which is a benefit as well (cool, antique-looking sofas and chairs)!
