by Barry W. on I had my first taste of Soju (Korean Vodka) here and I've never looked back. I've tried every flavor and my favorite is apple. Due to it's proximity to where I live, I frequent here quite often. Music is good and Tuesday night specials is even better. It's a good place to go with a group that you know and want to hang with. Not really a place to go to meet new people as people are divided into their own little sections or tables, so it's a little tough to accidentally "bump" into somebody.
by Lanell Newbauer on I really wish I could give this place even fewer stars. My outing there this weekend has made me loathe the Los Angeles club scene even more. I was ready to deal with the $20 cover and got past the ridiculously long line outside (even though it was virtually empty when I walked in). However, I could not deal with the bouncers giving me an ultimatum when I reached the door - no cameras allowed. Apparently a fight had occurred the night before and someone caught the entire thing on their camera. The owner was concerned that it would look bad for business and decided to enforce the idiotic rule of not allowing cameras for the night. We had the option of handing our cameras over to the evil bouncers, or hop out of the ridiculously long line and walk back to our cars. Not only were the rules ridiculous, the bouncers were incredibly rude as they barked their orders in our faces. Once inside, I was so incredibly disappointed I ran to the bar and started gulping down drinks as soon as possible in hopes that I might enjoy my evening. Fights happening in a club are not as bad for business as having an idiot for an owner. Here's a tip: most phones have more sophisticated technology than some older cameras. Next time, train your bouncers to do their jobs so the fights won't happen in the first place. Instruct them that they should save all their anger for the troublemakers, and not utilize it on innocent girls that are just trying to enjoy a night out.
