by Shonda K. on I've been to the other location and never wrote a review. Six feet under seems to be like Cheers, like there are a lot of regulars. I went for a drink and just sat at the bar. The waitress was nice and I had the seafood quesadilla which was good. It is a good spot to chill and just grab a beer or meet up with friends. I need to get up on the roof either here or Tin Lizzy and take a look at the skyline view. Also, and this applies to Tin Lizzy also, you may have to park and walk. It is dark on some of these side streets and lots. Just be on your guard, as you should be anywhere these days. update: Went back the other night and had the low country boil (blah!) it had no flavor at all, the sausage was the good though:) The gumbo was just okay. I still need to get up on the patio for the view but it always seems to be crowded and has at least a 30 min wait all the time. I won't be eating here anymore, just stopping through to maybe have a drink with friends.
by Coralie Beall on There are three places left (that I know off) that plays relatively good electronic music in 2008. Venu, Underbar and Estate out of this three Venu definetly takes the gold medal (hence 4 stars). Venus clientel is much better than the other two, prices for drinks and entrance is high but well worthed. However dance floor can be really cold and long lines at the door if you dont know anyone and/or late.
