Yeah, I'm a fan alright! When you think great wine with great friends, in a comfortable setting, you have to think Ecco. It's tucked away off Peachtree, but close enough to the Fox to make for a great evening. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable on the wine, the food...oh, the food! I love the meat/cheese assortments that you pick-and-choose, they can be fun with a group, the fried goat cheese...ohmygoodness! They have great flatbread pizzas and excellent pasta dishes. They have deals all through the week and month so make sure to check out their website. Definitely a keeper!

Amazing house music gets 10 stars... Venu and Rumor are probably best places to listen to house right now. Resident at Rumor seems to play latest stuff. Now cons: -1 star for long long lines at door when it is empty inside -1 star for arrogant and rude bounces -1 star for expensive drinks that are weak ( I dont mind paying $12 for redbull vodka if it is not just ice) -1 star $25 cover on thursdays -1 star for good measure ;-P We end up with 5 stars.... Rumor is in the list of places to go for good dance music... Note: They also have a huge front room that plays hiphop top40 reggaeton etc..

My first review will be on Rouge, because that is the most recent place of note that I went.  I've actually been there before, on Halloween (due to a serious and unfortunate lack of planning ahead), and I wouldn't have chosen to go except that I was invited for someone's birthday. It was pimps and hoes night, which I figured out about 3 hours into it, but that still didn't explain why so many chicks were wearing neon wigs (since when do hoes do that?) They were dressed like hoes, true, but I just figured that was normal for this club.  Kind of like Suite 181...a bunch of slutty girls and lame guys. The pluses are that the music is pretty good to dance to and it isn't too crowded to get to the bar, like some other clubs in sf, but there is still people there. Also the venue is kind of cool how its decorated. The drinks are kind of overpriced. Oh and by the way I have a flier for next week that says "office hoes and CEOs"...so if you dont mind sexist, played out themes week after week, rouge is the place to be.
