I love Hwood but after my recent trip, I will NEVER return! Hwood used to be my favorite club to go to, great dancing, great music, great drinks, but the valet serviced offered completely ruined my experience. VALET RUNS A HUGE UNDERGROUND SCAM! DO NOT PARK YOUR CAR HERE! I pulled up with my girlfriends and asked the valet if we could possibly park the car overnight and without any questions, the valet man willfully agreed. He said that we would need to pay him twenty dollars upfront (sounded sketch, but I believed this man) and he would park our car underground and would give us our keys back on our way out the club. As we were leaving to go claim our keys, the valet denied ever taking our money and told us to pay him all over again for parking. Are you kidding me? The man already scammed us one. To only add to the evening, our car was clearly parked in the upper lot, nowhere near the underground parking lot like he promised. He further proceeded to tell us "to get in the car and drive drunk" and denied over and over again ever taking our money. He continued to threaten to call the cops and even threatened to have our car impounded when there was no way anyone could drive. To make matters worse, he demanded that we pay an additional $60 to get the car. This would mean he made $80 off of his huge SCAM! He is the manager of the valet, short, chubby with a horrible thinning hair and a complete dick. The man deserves to be fired! AGAIN, DO NOT PARK YOUR CAR HERE! You'll end up paying more than you ever expected!

This place is beautiful. A classy place where you enter off of an outdoor courtyard surrounded by cabanas and an outdoor bar. Then you get into an indoor dance area flanked by a loggia and upper balcony area. I wasn't so keen on the music, since i was there for my company holiday party, but it got better when they opened the venue up to the public later that night. If i were you, i'd just pay the valet for parking. It's convinient and not that expensive.
