OK sushi and rolls for a really great price! This review is only of their Dollar Sushi night, which maybe the only reason I would really come back here again. The deal is pretty sweet - $2 for 2 pieces of sushi and $2 for 6-8 piece rolls. You can get plenty stuffed for under $12. Something I thought was a bit strange was how the Philadelphia Roll only included cream cheese and cucumber. Not sure if this is only the roll during Dollar night, but I was wondering where my piece of salmon had gone. Sad Panda

Ive been to Greenhouse twice. Once was a no go. They told us we had to buy bottles to get in (for 2girls and one guy? Really??) and NO ONE was online, so i know the place was super dead. We left and went to Kiss and Fly. Second time was the charm, knew someone who knew someone (eh.) and walked right in. The place was PACKED. Like, cant walk in the door PACKED. The music was disgustingly BAD. And everyone was already wasted. i headed straight for the bathroom. What do you know, theres a line! I digress... It was a nice place, the decor is great, but the downstairs Hip Hop room was DISGUSTINGLY HOT. I met some really nice people, the people there are top notch, but that doesn't make the club great.

Okay. So, this is just another one of 758 reviews about this place. I just have to talk about my experience here. After an evening at Medjool, I came to understand why this place continues to create a lot of buzz. Disclaimer: I live in a cave.  I only started hearing great things about this place last year. So, I decided to check out the moonlight shining so brightly from the cave entrance one Friday night and have dinner with one of my friends. First things first. A dry place to land. Parking wasn't bad. I figured we got lucky. It was packed everywhere else but we found a spot 6 cars away from the entrance. It was a cold and windy Friday night so we decided to stay within the warm confines of traditional indoor dining. No fun and romantic rooftop dining for us... but we weren't disappointed. The servers were chic, friendly, and attentive. They are definitely part of what makes it an interesting scene. 'Loved the simple and straightforward menu. It took me and my friend less than 10 minutes to figure out what to order.  We got the lamb and fig tagine from the North African section of the menu, Brined Pork Tenderloin on a Bed of Chorizo White Beans from the South European menu and Dungeness Crab Filled Falafel with Fresh Tomato and Tahini Sauce from the Middle Eastern menu. I can't remember exactly what drinks we ordered except that I had some delicious red wine that paired very well with the wonderful lamb dish.  The flavors truly delighted my palate. I especially love the small plates concept of this restaurant. I like the experience of democracy at work on the dining table. Since we were sharing, we had to decide which dish got the most votes before announcing our final choices to the server. I just have one little disapproving comment about my experience. it took forever for the bill to come. But I really can't complain much. It gave me and my friend who I hadn't seen in months, a few more minutes to chat and catch up. On a Friday night, being able to warm your seats inside a packed restaurant lounge is a definite luxury.
