Horrible Music, too loud, asked us to check in our coats.  Dance floor downstairs was overcrowded and looked like a cave.  Last but not least, they overcharged my credit card by over 3k. Wish there was the ability to give them 0 stars.

I haven't lived in San Francisco too long, so I rely on stereotypes to maneuver the neighborhoods.  For instance, I always thought of the Mission as the SF version of NY's lower east side.  Smaller bars, sometimes overrun by hipsters, no frattiness, better music. It was much to my surprise then, when I stepped into Bruno's on a Saturday night with my friends.  With $10 cover charge, we walked into a massive dance/bar area with multiple rooms and an upstairs section.  The crowd was very mixed.  Music was top 40 I think. Upstairs there were several stripper poles (classy I know).  I watched several girls of questionable character and one overweight dude take their shoes off and swing around the pole like bees to nectar.  The floor was undoubtedly nasty, but these kids were not worried about hygiene.  They were going at those poles like one of those May Pole festivals. I ordered a vodka tonic from the bartender, but she gave me a tonic vodka instead.  Service was quick though and drinks were cheap that soon enough I understood why stripper poles in the Mission just made sense.

So, the fun continues after The Dirty Thirty Club finishes watching our movie and want to chill out a little longer.  It's Christmas, is there even a lounge open? Lucky for us, Busby's East was open. There's a parking lot in the back, so parking was not a problem. We got in, no cover.  The place is nice, really chilled out. I like the layout; there are different rooms that you can hang out.  There's 2 pool tables (free if you buy drinks), a basketball game, ping pong table.  They even had a DJ spinning some decent music.  After a few drinks, we danced a bit. The bartender was cool.  The crowd was mixed. I would like to check out this place when it isn't a holiday.  I was told there is a club upstairs. If they don't charge cover, then this place is an awesome place to kick back with some friends.  It was definitely an interesting Christmas, nice family outing.
