by liza c. on I love Natty Mechanics. It is such a large and garish spot, that it's funny to me that I often overlook it when trying to think of a quick spot to get beer and grub. The interior is absolutely excellent. I'm particularly fond of the oddities and other unusual decor. Plus, I'm a big fan of the community-style seating. The staff is always super-friendly and very attentive. And the food: granted, I rarely order other things than the veggie burger (which is one of the best in the city), but I've never had anything that I didn't like. (Except last night I had a side salad instead of fries and the balsamic dressing was just "off" - no other way to describe it.) Also, I'm always supremely happy with the draft beer selection.

Okay in agreement with Lotus was much better then new t&g with everything turning into a lounge spot its hard to be too hard, it doesnt cater to the big dance floor as it once did, but the bartenders will take care of you & some are still the same staff... the food took a while,but I was warned, trust the fact I needed it the buffalo bites were worth it if you go for some drinks maybe some mingling youll be fine ;)
by Chrissy R. on I am not a big fan of Coal Oven Pizza because it tends to be to crunchy and burnt and I like folding my pizza in half. Pietro's is good though. Last time I was here I got some goat cheese and prosciutto pizza (it may or may not have had anchovies as well) and they forgot to put the prosciutto on and made it as if we didn't order it. Whatever! Besides that though, I've not really had a negative experience here. I like going when I remember it exists.
