by steven w. on Morimoto is a tough way (on your wallet at least) to find out you may not love Japanese food. My family was so excited to eat here and it delivered in many aspects; unfortunately not in flavor. Ultra modern decor...Friendly staff from the hostess at the time you walk in, until the time you leave. The manager seems to be working the room and it runs very smoothly. What I did love...the cocktails...some of the best I have ever had. Perfect balance and exceptional flavors. My favorite was the White Pear. I would go back to the bar for these. The rest of the food experience was average. We had quite a few items, Sea Bass, American Kobe Steak (Izikaya), Duck three ways and several sushi rolls. None of the four of us loved any of it. The entrees were prepared well from a cooking perspective, the flavors were just boring. The sushi in the rolls tasted pulverized, giving it the consistency of mousse. Maybe some like it that way, but it wasn't for us. In the end, I wanted to try Morimoto, so I can now cross it off of my list. I just wish we would have liked it more.

Its a great place to go with friends and be yourself, but still run into some kinda of crazy party on any given night. They got cool stuff going on every night of the week. I did karaoke for this first time ever and I had a blast there. I got to do rap songs that people never do, like back that ass up. Awesome. The dance parties there are ridiculous too. Everyone dances like maniacs, no filters, no embaressment, and lots of pretty girls. The drinks are always on point, and the bartenders are tons of fun and have great personalities. $5 burgers!!!!!!!!!!!!! i get at least one a week. and the rest of the food there is delicious. by Bhumika K. on Jell-o shots for closing call is a bad idea, but brought back some fabulous memories from my 21st birthday (many moons ago) - I just paid for it dearly the next day! =) Music is good, crowd fun - but SO SMALL!
