I went here last night with some friends, we got there about 10pm or so, nice LITTLE place, lots of hot little Asian women. Bartenders were cute and friendly, but the DJ was not very good, too many awkward pauses between cuts but the drinks were strong and the girls were cute, so we stayed a while! FYI: dress up

Went when it first opened and was reminded of Miami.  Tasteful decorative crystals hanging from the ceiling add to the appeal of being crammed against sweaty clubbers.  The place is poorly designed and its name is completely misleading.  When I heard greenhouse I expected bamboo and potted palm trees.  This was a long way to go to be dissapointed.  This place is, it must be said, barely in Soho as the listing suggests very close to Tribeca where the there is the entrance to the tunnel.

When I think of this place, I think of utter wastedness. Thats usually the result of an excursion to this place, and this may or may not be appealing depending on who you're talking to. My breakdown: Food - fast, otherwise, eh. Drinks - strong, everyone loves their scorpion bowls. Bartenders are always busy, get ready to shove your way in (or ask a pushy friend to shove for you, hehe) with cash in-hand on a busy night if you want to get a drink without waiting and being seesawed around. Atmosphere - Loud (but in an 'ears zing' kind of way), full of chatter, way too crowded, and can be alright if I'm in an 'anything goes' sort of mood but otherwise not my scene. Bouncers - Seem mean at first, then get more polite, then get obnoxious again. They need to pick one mood and stick with it! We once had a sponsored party in the upstairs room, at the top floor. If you can call a somewhat empty room a party - most people left relatively early after they'd guzzled down enough drinks to get them dancing a bit in the somewhat seedy sultry reddish lighting, and then tumbled down the stairs to drink some more and stay there. Don't stay on the stairs long, you've gotta keep moving or the bouncers will get stressy again. The music was pretty 'eh' as well. Overall, not my kind of bar, and while I don't feel it deserves to be judged solely on that basis, I'd rather go elsewhere than this crowded spot with too many pushy people and 'eh' everything else.
