I have a long history with this bar and my love for it runs deep. :) Overall great for happy hours and English Premiere League watching...Go Gunners! :) Such foods like: chicken boxty quesadillas, pear and bleu cheese salad, pulled lamb french dip, and fish tacos are all superb and worth a try.  They also have a tasty happy hour menu- lamb lollipops!  Best Guinness pour in town. Back in the day I could be found here most Fri and/or Sat nights and St. Patty's Day.  Although, the new location (rooftop is pretty pretty cool) is great I'm not really sure about its late night club like feel but maybe I'm just getting older- noooo, its definitely not that. :)

The venue is large and when not filled with people, seems pretty lame. We arrived early to a San Franpsycho event and it took over an hour for a crowd to finally form. The DJ and hip hop guy were legit, but once they were off the stage the crowd started to grow a little more ghe-TTO (if ya know what I mean). $2 Bud specials till 11 and $4 for a Bud Light made for an alright night. Luckily, North Beach is always there to finish the night off right...

Hmmm...I'm conflicted. My entree was quite delicious, but there are many negatives about this place. When you sit down they immediately push the pomegranate margarita and fresh guacamole. Normally not one to get something without looking at the price, I impulsively ordered the guac. A man came by our table with the guacamole cart, and proceeded to crush the fresh ingredients with a mortar and pestle. The guac tasted good, but it wasn't spectacular, and there wasn't all that much of it. So I was incredibly shocked when we finally got the menus, only to learn that it had cost $12! What a huge rip-off. Do not get it! My table ordered the goat tacos (good) and the mole chicken enchiladas (rich and yummy). Prices for the entrees were also high, but not as exorbitant as the guacamole. Overall the food was good, but you can spend half as much and get nearly as tasty food at many other places in the city.
