When I review a place on rateclubs I review the entire experience, not just the food.  Although sometimes it IS just about the food.  Except when it's not.  Okay in all truthfulness my reviews have no consistency whatsoever.  But I know what I like and what I don't like, and what I think is just okay.  BBP is just okay.  The burgers are good, yes, but I guess I expected more from Bobby Flay, who has mentioned that the classic American burger and shake are his favorite comfort foods.  With a claim like that, I'd expect a little more love put into his burgers, even if it's a fast-food joint.  My Dallas burger was cooked nicely but the slaw they topped it with was disappointing, and with the amount of BBQ sauce they used, they might as well have left the slaw out all together and just put lettuce in for texture.  Or potato chips.  I also got a strawberry shake, and that was fine, but for half the price and a plane ticket to California I could have had an equally satisfying In-n-Out shake.  I miss In-n-Out. As far as everything else goes, the ambiance is a cool, although the layout is a little too cafeteria-ish for me, and the service was quick and friendly.  But save your money and go to Five Guys IMO.  Or move to California.

So this was my first time going to a gay, 21+ establishment since turning 21 in July. It was...underwhelming. Apparently the re-did the place, but seeing how I have nothing to compare it to, it was whatever. It's basically what I thought it would be - the same thing as the 18+ clubs, but less scary people, more older people and more alcohol. The music wasn't too terrible, but the transitions were kind of weird and people would kind of stop dancing in between songs... For my first gay bar/club experience I'll give it a C+/B- rating. Im not sure what the others are like...I'll let you guys know

The food is good...the service is spotty & often slow but pleasant. I'm not sure why I don't come her more often as is convenient and affordable. They have wonderful soups, panninis and sometime good coffee! It's inconsistant and sometimes has a weird taste to the roast (which is done in house). My only serious issue is with their fruit-fly problem. Every time I came here for months (a while back) there were flies in with the pastries or bagels. Yuck :( UPDATE: Haven't seen fruit flies the last few times...so *yay* I can order a pastry...
