I went there about 2 years ago and I liked the club. The dance floor was kinda small but I had fun there. The weird thing was that I saw my bro there at the club (which never happened before). We had about 10 people in our group of friends and we just partied until close. I would love to go again and would recommend it to people I know. Good memories!

I love Kelly's Mission Rock, but I can't give this venue higher than a three star review. For the size of the space, it should have more restrooms; I think there are a mere five womens bathroom stalls total, and one or two are usually out of order. The only thing that makes party goers more angry than expensive drinks is long bathroom lines. I've been to KMR for both 18+ and 21+ events, and I almost always have a good time. Second Sunday is always wild and out of control complete with break dancing circles upstairs and bongo and drum players outside. They also have FOOD and ins and outs until 8pm which makes the 12 hour party more manageable. The sliders, thin French fries, hot dogs and pizza are all finger-lickin' good. Second Sunday is packed to capacity, so come on the early side around 3-4pm if you want space to dance. This also brings me back to my point of the lack of bathrooms; at the peak of the party, around 7pm, womens bathroom lines are easily 20 minutes long. Om brings out good talent every month and the crowd is mixed, and what I mean by mixed is plenty of skanks, cougars and creepers. For the 18+ parties I've been to, the bar is almost always a wristbanded area with security checking all people who enter. One of the security guards ripped off my friend's wristband because it was crinkled and he thought she slipped it on. She tried to show him her ID, but he said she couldn't come in regardless. WTF?! She just went back to the door, got another wristband and entered in just fine. What a douche. Crazy lazer lightshows are projected onto the boats along the shore and there's seating upstairs on the deck. No food. Depending on the party you can hear house, funk, breaks, electro, drum n bass, trance, hardcore and hiphop. KMR is a cool venue if you want something different from time to time, though I'm a little burnt out on it now because I've been here 10+ times already this year.

I had come to Mezzanine a looooooooooooooong time ago.  I'd have to say, probably 6 years ago.  All I have to say is that the space since the remodeled is AMAZING!  I could do without the stage, however, the seating area upstairs with the three flat screen televisions does the space wonders. The BF, myself and two other friends decided to check Mezzanine out during Pride Weekend of 2008 for Frisco Disco.  All I have to say is that God we didn't go to one of the other major parties that weekend...they weren't even letting those with tickets inside.  The music that night was just ok, and the sound wasn't all that impressive.  It was missing that hardcore thump that you want to feel resonate through your entire body, but it didn't even make it up the soles of your feet. The bartenders are great here.  Their drinks are strong and if they're not too busy, they are more than happy to converse with you.  More times than night, they'll start the conversation.
