by Ken on With the dive-y ambience I thought they would be having full bar and a variety of wines and ales. But they specialize in beers only. Too light sometimes! And the strong ones too strong!
I was there for food as well. It was our 12th anniversary and my wife wanted to be at a bar in Vegas. Not at all a romantic idea but wife is wife you know. We came for dine out and at a PUB!!! But HONEST only the drunk would like their food. The Garlic Fries are so smelly and feels like fried in the beer instead of oil. Not a good food at all.
by Mike C. on I came here by accident. I was enjoying some bar food at Bar Food in Brentwood when I met this cool couple Tany M, and Christine M, both LA rateclubsers. And from there, they invited me to come along for some laughs and more drinks. And I'm glad I came out. Pretty fuckin awesome laughs here!!!! It was Latino night, with the majority of the performers having some sort of Latino descent. So I got in for free, thanks again to the rateclubs couple and to check out a family friend of theirs who was also performing. But I'm sure it's already cheap to get in anyway. Great magic + great comedy = Tears of fucking laughter!!! Ha, it was fucking awesome. Drinks...yah, 2 drink minimum here. But that's cool, had 3 Bay Breezes. (Vodka + Cran + Pineapple) And these were hard pours...super stiff drinks. They also serve food so you can replace one of your required drinks for food instead. A lot of history here, and you can see it through all the pictures on the walls. A lot of the well known comedians of today have gone through and performed at The Improv at one point of their early lives. Pretty neat stuff. Tip: If you sit towards the front of the stage, be prepared to be either called on to participate or be part of their jokes. Cool stuff. Good laughs. Funny shit!!!
by eunice c. on Very fun decor and it's a cool place to just hang out by the bar for drinks. The food looked good tho and I want to try eating here sometime. I got hit on by a Danish man with an accent using on of Mystery's pickup artist lines. "I would like you to settle a bet for me..."
by Darleen Deprez on There's so much knock on this place... but I just had the Weekday brunch so I'll just speak on that. Overall, you get your money's worth for $9. You can get in at least 4 soft tacos, a couple of enchiladas, soup, and finish it off with some fruits. There's also buffet flan (never a good thing), rice, beans, and salsa. The big chips and salsa was good. They get you on drinks because fountain drinks cost $3.25. ahaahaha.
