by Dean Donner on Yes, circle is everything like you imagined. Asian, mostly Korean, guys standing around leaning against the bar, thinking they're looking real cool n good. If you are attending a college within 50 mile proximity to Manhattan, you are likely to see the Asian (again most likely Korean) kids from your school there. I went there once, when I walked in "Hala, halahalahalahala" was playing, you know, the Kara song. Wasn't that hard to get in, but it was after midnight so we had to pay cover. I don't mind kpop but the music was bad, the DJ played so many old hits. It is that one of a kind experience kind of place, wouldn't mind it every once in a few months loll
by Doug Krzewinski on it's a pretty place, with a good dance floor- as spacious as it was, it filled UP. it was so cool to see such a diverse group of salsa dancers, though. the live band was fun i'd say heads up- the lessons they gave aren't necessarily for beginners. i think a lot of the beginner leads were having trouble.
by Sharon B. on I've been to this place twice... once in June of 2007... had a great time. Besides the fact that I was kinda drunk I remember there being good music and a mixed crowd. Fast forward to September 2009 (19th to be exact)... they moved this location to Koreatown?!??! Not really but once inside you'd assume so! Ok drop the fact that it was Asian central... in short it was in coming here that I realized why I don't go clubbing anymore but wait-- it's not even a club.. doh... My best friend celebrated her birthday here... got bottle service... I stayed til the end because we were supposed to go eat after. But I was bored out of my mind! Music was no bueno. DJ couldn't mix well and the selection was top 40 to the max. It's like management doesn't care about the appearance of this place. Yes, it's a "sports bar" but come on now, if people are going to be dropping glasses--switch over to high quality plastic cups! My friend's sister got a cut on her foot and the back of her leg. WTH- how does that happen?!? The highlight of the night was when a drunk girl slipped on a spilled drink on the floor and totally fell on her ass. I hella laughed. Yea, I'm mean. Okay I don't want to recall the rest of the night... thumbs down is all I have to say. Maybe I should just come in the day time and try to hit up the shuffle board...
