After rateclubstober fest it was no wonder that my and my fellow companions were hungry after sampling all that delicious-ness...and we were quite boozed up. Closest choice for food? Why, K-town of course. we opted for a set menu, which includes some soju and a plate of wings. The lychee soju wasn't bad, but I was surprised that they didn't offer more flavors...in particular the yogurt soju...needless to say, I was disappointed. The chicken wings we ordered took a long time to arrive, leading us to believe that it was bon chon chicken........it wasn't. It was plain, old, american style bbq wings. Seriously?! complete with carrot and celery on the side too. If I wanted american wings I would have gone somewhere else. On top of that, our bill came to around $45 for unimpressive food.......... Ok, one more chance for the happy hour deal..but 2 stars for now.

I love going to Cielo because they hands down have the best house music and sound system in the city.  The bouncers and bartenders are friendly for a meatpacking club.  The crowd is well dressed and super sexy. I especially like the little patio area. The drinks are obviously very expensive but the atmosphere at Cielo is worth the price.

Despite the fact that there is some ghetto-looking mexican restaurant sign over the club, I like it here. I was expecting a lot from this club, considering it has a pretty hefty reputation around Hollywood. It's pretty ridiculous to get to the bar and get some drinks, but the back bar is a lot less crowded than the front one. I liked that there was a defined dance floor space in the corner, but walking to and from it I banged my legs into the tables that were shoved around the border. The smoking patio on the side is pretty nice though... airy and spacey somewhat. Sucks that the bathroom has a total of THREE stalls in it though... give me a break. Needless to say, I hated it here my first time, but my second time was much better (refer to my formal update below). update 05/05: HOLY CRAP. I was there again on a Saturday night, and I do believe that every single person there was wasted... yes, including myself. The drinks are poured pretty strong here, it only took ONE drink and HALF a shot to keep me drunkie for a couple of hours. But yes, I do have a low tolerance. I'd have to say that everyone who comes here seems to have a great time though. Good place to chill in the back and meet people, and then go inside for the craziness on the dance floor! Staff is friendly, bartenders are great, I've had lots of great times here with my friends
