by Nate R. on This place is really a big yawn for me. I have only been here a few times but leave disappointed every time. I go in with the best of intentions each time I have been here but it just never works for me. Crowd, scene, music I really don't know what exactly is so wrong but it just doesn't work. I left with in 45 minutes last weekend.

There are always lots of girls here because well girls like to dance, they like crowded areas and they like cheap drinks. Bob's does offer all of the above. However, be prepared to sweat ALOT cause this place is always packed and gets really hot. I recommend boxers and MMA fighters hang out here on a Friday night to cut weight. I hate crowded places to the point where you can't move and worst of all it'll take you an hour to get 1 drink. Be prepared to double fist as you'll be way sober by the time you get your 2nd drink. To me getting a face full of armpit sweat is not my idea of fun...but if you're into hot, sweaty body odor and long lines at the bar then you've just found your paradise bar.
by Julia H. on I went on a weeknight and had a great time. Maybe because it was for a fundraiser and some of my friends were there. SF bars/clubs are so much better on weeknights. I think douchebags only come out friday and saturday nights and make them bad...unbearable...maybe that's why I don't hit bars on weekends. Seriously. We had a really nice time here. Yeah drink prices are on the steep in end...but have you been to NYC, LA, or South Beach? I think the interior is very cool...sexy...it would be a great space to throw a party. Yah! SF has neat places to hang out again.
