by Camille L. on I only go to Avalon for Tiger Heat on Thursday nights. I love pop and electronic music and you'll hear the sort of Top 40 stuff here. What I like so much about Tiger Heat is that people are willing to dance the entire night. There's A/C upstairs near one of the DJs and drink specials before 10pm. So, dress flamboyantly and grab a Midori sour - love this place! (My best experiences were Brit and Lady Gaga nights! Check our their website before you go to see who they're playing.)
