Slide is the twin club of Ruby Skye (same owner, Reggie). Slide is a hyped free version of Ruby Skye. The bouncers are tight, it's hard to get in if the girls/boys ratio is not 1. And they don't hesitate to give lame excuses like "Fire safety". But if you manage to get in ... (Hint: guestlistnation) You can go down to the club with an actual slide (even though it's sometimes closed). The club itself is quite small, and looks a lot like a overly decorated basement. But the atmosphere is definitely there. The music is good, a lot of mashups (but not top40). The crowd is still the basic downtown club crowd, without the habitual "sharks" (guys desperately looking for girls). The drinks are overpriced, but given that the entrance is free, it's not that much of a big deal. To conclude, try Slide before going to Ruby Skye! On a final note, the bouncers once were really rude with friends who actually were on a guestlist. They threatened to do some bad reviews on Slide Facebook Page and the owner called them and told them to text him when they wanted in. So the club is listening to its customers (or trying to avoid bad publicity ?)

Before I went to Wonderland I read some reviews and I was very hesitant to even want to go. But my cousin was promoting there that night and I decided to give it a try. So here's what I thought: 1) My friends and I got in right away since my cousin was promoting so I cannot comment on the price/waiting in line.Parking was very convenient and not a hassle. 2) I walked in and didnt really see the "Wonderland" theme, only in the waiters/waitresses. But the concept is great. 3) The drinks are a little more than usual ($6 beer $10 lemon drop) BUT the lemon drops were super strong. The bartenders were really friendly and social. 4) There is a really small dance floor but you can dance on the couches and on stage behind them. Great idea. My friends and I quickly made friends with a group of guys who had bottle service so we had fun dancing the whole night. Overall my experience was really great and I will be going back, but I will most likely be getting bottle service. It is just more convenient.

W.H.A.C.K.!!! I don't think I've ever been sooo bored in my life at a club.  Damn the DJ.  I could play better music on my IPOD and still get the crowd crackin.  DJ, you need to update your laptop or something since I know you can't mix on tables!!  Yeah, I'm bitter.  Told you, I've NEVER BEEN sooooo bored! They gave out free shots of Smirnoff vodka.  I guess to keep the crowd going.  And theeen, a fight broke out on the dance floor!?!?  GHETTO! Decor was nice and elegant.. but damn, what a waste of a good night cuz of the stupid out-dated music.
