by Autumn K. on If there's one thing you can count on me for, it's to be the first (and sometimes only) person on the dancefloor, usually dancing badly and singing loudly. This neighborhood is a shithole but the venue is always fun. Drinks are overpriced and service is virtually nonexistent, but being a girl, I usually don't have to deal with such things. Which is good for 222, because it means they still get 4 stars from me.
by C P. on Ugh I seriously don't know what to think about this club. The decor is amazing, and the club is really spacey. What a shame. They need to switch promotion companies or something. But anyway I've been here twice and at least I got in free both times or else I'd put 1 star lol. First time I managed to get so drunk I got kicked out, except I had no idea what just happened and my friends tricked me into thinking that the club closed. Me: "whhhhhhhatttttttttttt but it's only 1:30ammmmmmmm." *starts drunkdialing people* Second time my friend was so drunk she puked on my hand. Was led into this back room with EMR's. YET SHE DIDN'T GET KICKED OUT (not that I wanted her to, but I'm just feeling a bit cheated that I got kicked out the other time). Anyway it's such a shame that this club is full of ghetto/wallpaper asian dudes who stand off to the side watching skankily dressed girls dance. Not to mention the music is absolute crap, like mashed up 80s+hiphop+weirdass shit I don't even know but I HATE THE MUSIC HERE. Even their house music was bad!! And I love most electronic music =(. And they almost never look at IDs, so maybe that explains a bit of the hoochy attire Lol funny story. The first time when I was semi-drunk, I went outside and some two Chinese dudes said to eachother in Chinese, that girl is so drunk! I responded to their lame-ass comment in perfect Chinese, "fuck you guys I am not drunk." (People think I look viet). Suck it !!! Anyway, unless my friends drag me here I don't think I'd come back. Twice is more than enough...
by Yolonda Michaeli on Disclaimer - I didn't go super late at night on Friday or Saturday when this club becomes totally B&T....I came after work yesterday with coworkers before dinner. Rouge has a pretty bad reputation as the B&T hangout on the weekend. During the weeknights, people from the 'hood go to Nicks for their yummy tacos and the $2 and $3 happy hour specials. I had a well $3 cosmopolitan and it was decent. The decor is defn like Moulin Rouge but when it's empty and you have the place to yourself, it rocks!
