by Debbie E. on I have only been here for events and not the actual nightclub on a weekend. Multiple rooms and even a balcony so you can overlook the lights of Hollywood Blvd. Tables, lounge chairs are set up on some of the sides. There are flat screens above the bars but I've never really seen anything interesting on them. I like how even though the atmosphere seems cozier than other clubs that you don't really feel claustrophobic. The dance floor is big but not as large as compared to other clubs in the area. The bar areas get really crowded, even for events. And the drinks overall are a weak pour. Surprising for events but makes you wonder what normal drinks are like. Bartenders aren't that friendly. The food here is amazing. The Highlands is owned by someone in the Wolfgang Family of restaurants and the cuisine definitely carries over. Sushi, chocolate covered strawberries, grilled chicken with some kind of lovely sauce on them. Yummy. Bathrooms are actually just kind of blah for the type of place.
by Many Gildersleeve on What an amazing place....food is fantastic and fresh...everything on the menu is flavorful and not overdone...you can really taste the ingredients. Decor is modern but also not overdone. I love this place. Fabulous neighborhood gem. I recommend it to everyone! And they are never disappointed! A must!!
by Diego S. on Very hard to find as it is literally just a door...once inside, you make your way downstairs to a decent sized space. I could never get a phone signal...didnt' matter because this was usually my last stop of the night. When I could find nothing else to do on a weekend night, I would end up at Sullivan Room... usually always great house music and small to no cover. Crowd was generally energetic and genuinely there for the music and not to get laid/score drugs.
