by Aaron M. on This is a review for the CLUB, not the restaurant. Up-front: I am not a club guy. Although I've been to pretty much every club venue in the city, I prefer bars to clubs. As a guy, its next-to-impossible to not feel like a huge sketchball in a club. Infusion is the closest thing to a Vegas/NYC club you will find in SF. Vessel originally had that crown (at least they had the impressive entrance first), but when Infusion opened the crown was passed. That said, it is sad that SF continues to try and emulate Vegas/NYC - IT DOESN'T WORK HERE FOLKS. While the decor is impressive, and the Asian girls are smokin-hot (ok, I have a thing for Asian girls, its SF, what do you expect?!), this place leaves much to be desired. Drinks are ridiculously pricey, even for SF, the place gets CROWDED. At least I'll give them a star for not creating false scarcity by making you wait in line with an empty club (I'm looking at YOU Atmosphere, Harlot, 330, Manor, Supper, to name a few). Too bad its so crowded you can barely move. You WILL get hot, so dress appropriately. Ladies, if you have anything other than a ridiculously short skirt, why the hell are you here? Gentlemen...er...dudes in wifebeaters, if you have less than 4 tattoos, are wearing a button-up that doesn't have at least 3 buttons undone, or aren't in a mood to start a fight...move along, nothing to see here. I hate to stereotype, but in the words of George Clooney from 'Up in the Air', "I stereotype. It's faster". If you want an awe-inspiring club experience for your friends from Fresno/Bakersfield/Bumblef*ck, take them here. You will not find anything like it in the city. If you want them to have fun, take them somewhere else. Unless the above conditions apply, in which case please stay confined to this area. Wow, thats a lot of haterade. I must be really ready for the weekend...
by Jc Wyandt on I rarely frequent places like this since I tend to prefer the low-key, down-to-earth bar. But I have gone a few times to this place and had a good time. The music is usually really good, and the vibe is nice as well. Thanks to a friend, I always get in free or half price and to the front of the line. VIP area is cool. A little crowded, but definitely a good time.
by Shannon C. on Great food (the mac and cheese. THE MAC AND CHEESE!!!) Good ambiance Good service I have no complaints! Cool spot for a date. Has a romantic vibe to it. Dim lighting. I'd describe it as cozy. The space is small, which I like. It's a bit pricey. That's my only negative thing. My experience was grand.
