My cousin has mentioned about going to this club. It was a Wednesday night and none of the girls have ever gone out on a Wednesday night. Typically the weekend where everyone goes out. So we thought we'd try it out. I have never been to this club and from what I heard it was supposed to be a high end classy night club because even celebs like Kim Kardashian, Jennifer Lopez, P Diddy etc. I also heard it was hard to get in unless you are with beautiful people. I tried to get on the guestlists as far as trying to contact the promoters. I didn't know who was promoting that night. My cousin and I arrived at the place way before it opened. We were the only ones there. So we waited and pre-funked before we went in. It was not even like 10:30 p.m. when all of a sudden there was a huge line outside My House. Everyone was trying to get in and squeeze each other trying to talk to the bouncers to get in. One of the promoters said "if you're not on the guest lists you might as well not wait in line. You're wasting your time." We all looked at each other in shock. The only way to get in was to get a bottle service which was $300 minimum. The girls and I discussed it to see if it was worth it or not. We were waiting in line for over 2 hours and there still was no luck in getting in. Everyone there was pretty much on the list and some weren't. So by almost at the end of the night we ended up getting a bottle service just to get in. Even then the guy wasn't helping us out at all. He was taking his time. It was BS to me. By the time we got inside, we were escorted to our table. It was a small area sharing it with other people. It was not worth it to me. But we bought a bottle anyway and tried to enjoy the night. This club does not look anything like a house at all. Maybe the kitchen where it is the bar. But everything else was like a lounge area. I didn't see any real beds or real couches or even a real living room with a flat screen tv etc. Overall it was an ok club typical like any other club in Hollywood. I wouldn't come back here unless I'm on a guestlist.

I'm reading the reviews here thinking "Did I go to the same Emerald Pub as these people?" An old friend of mine just had a birthday party here and if it wasn't for the company I would of left after my first drink. It being the weakest drink I've ever had at a bar period. $9 for a rum and coke that tasted like water with a vague hint of cola and perhaps half an eyedropper of rum. I had a second thinking it may have just been the bartender, and it was just as bad. LAME! I liked the darkness of the bar itself and it would be nice if the music wasn't blasting so loud. Everyone was putting their ears to other peoples mouths so they could hear what was being said. Not a place for catching up on old times. That and on a Friday night at 11pm is was so dead you could feel the freezing night air rolling through the place. I would never ever go back here even if someone else was buying the drinks. It's out in the middle of now where and totally lame. It gets 1 star because I can't give it less. There are a million better pubs in NYC, with cheaper prices and much better atmosphere. I will not be back.

It's been a LONG time since I was here, but I remember having a really great time.  It was low-key enough, definitely not too crowded, but it also had the right touchs to keep things interesting (live music, pool, great ambiance--in my opinion, anyway) Definitely want to come again to see if it stands the test of time.
