I wanted so badly for this place to work. We came here for a birthday celebration for one of my swankier friends, and the decor jived with the vibe we wanted. Unfortunately the place was almost entirely empty the whole night, except for two bachelorette parties that swooped in and out. What seating there was, was uncomfortable. Eventually the couple of ladies that there started trying to impress the very few men in attendance by dancing on the stripper pole, and we knew it was time to leave. Now every time one of my midtown residing friends suggests we "try it out", I pass.

one of steven starr's better restaurants! came here for restaurant week awhile back and i have to say all restaurant week menus in philly are TEN TIMES BETTER than any menu offered during restaurant week in nyc. i don't remember the specifics but i do remember the seared tuna which was done with much flavor and cooked perfectly rare.
