by Jenny B. on The only cool thing about this place is the ambiance and it's not that it's so impressive but more so that it's such a large space in Manhattan. They have multiple levels and mezzanine areas which are pretty cool. We went for the Lunch Prix Fixe Special (I chose to get the Peking Duck Spring Rolls and Soy Ginger Glazed Salmon), and it wasn't awful but probably wouldn't go back. Why pay that much for Asian food when you can get much better eats for the better prices?
by Lavern Broomell on 3 words: BEST STEAK EVER!! A friend and I went here during restaurant week in March to check it out. I got a ChaiTini which was so good and not too sweet. I had a delicious salad and then the most amazing Hanger Steak ever! I had mine cooked Medium Well and my friend got the Medium Rare and both were amazing. I didn't finish it all, so even the next day (after microwaving it to get warm!!!) it was still so tasty, juicy, and flavorful!! The dessert wasn't good, I don't remember what I got which means it must not have stood out. They also played show tunes music, but it got ridiculously loud at one point, I couldn't even talk to my friend and my ears felt like they were bleeding, it was fun to watch though. If you go , I recommend the steak!!! If you are vegetarian, the ChaiTini :)
by Austin Perry on Minus one star for slow service and weren't all that attentive. Our waitress was nice so if I could i'd have a half star. Food and drinks were great, it can get a bit pricey but it's well worth it. It's Dominican food at its best with a lot of flavor and elegance. I had the salmon and mashed platanos in some kind of sauce it was all great, I inhaled that plate! My friend had the bacalao (cod fish) in a sweetened plantain which was really really good as well, kinda wished I ordered that ( next time), drinks are good we had the sangria, although one of my friends had a mojito (which was recommended by the waitress) and she didn't like it much. All in all a good time had by everyone. Gets pretty packed on the weekends though so get ready for a bit of a wait, and it gets a little bit rowdy, which isn't a problem for me ;-)
