by Efren Pefferman on "the return of the mega club dance party" or some bs is how they bill this gay saturday party at the providence hotel in midtown, club 57 aside from the bitchy door guys, or gals if im being honest/bitchy myself, this place is fun. its nice to have a huge, generally packed nighclub without having to go to chelsea or downtown to santos...the crown is always mixed, but expect to see a lot of LES wanna be hipsters from the UWS and UES that doesnt mean they are not hot though, this place is crawling with hot guys, on three levels and in many different rooms with three djs, this place will def bring you back for more
by Jesus Nesslein on I came here twice during my last trip to New York and hung out for a couple of hours catching up with friends. It gets 4 stars because of the 90 to 10 ratio of girls to guys. The view from the third floor of any building in New York sucks, but the view at Third Floor is still great (And the applause sign goes off for that lame joke! Just mark the funny button already!) Their soju cocktails are good but I liked their gin cocktails enough to order 5 of them.
by Valerie S. on I had gone here this past weekend and I really liked it. I was visiting from New York.. so it was like a New York lounge/bar but on a smaller scale and a more laidback. Guys could wear sneakers and tank tops without a problem. We went on a Sat night around 10:30pm but the line was already pretty long. We had to wait about an hour to get in.. but it was worth the wait. The music was really good and the people watching was awesome. This is definitely a place where local MIT/Harvard students go to hang out. They serve Ginger Beer, which is pretty interesting.
