by Shira Lavagnino on This is where my bf and I head for dessert after my gluttonous dinner at Chosun Ok. We love the atmosphere and the pastries. We try something new every time. This place does not cease to amaze me. I think the last memorable thing I tried was the Cheese Mousse with Raspberries. It was a perfect consistency. The decor is bright and out of this world but subtle enough to lounge in. The service is friendly, fast, and knowledgeable. They even have free wi-fi and comfortable seating. Their selection of music is kind of cheesy, do bring your iPod if you plan on getting some work done. It's a pretty dope spot for pastries and lounging. I have yet to check out their birthday cakes, they look delicious and wonderful.
by Ramon E. on I agree with all the review highlights. -Buy tickets ahead of time and go early. There's no line at 5:20, and a line a mile long at 5:40. -As soon as you get inside, go through the glass covered area, turn left and get in line for a (free, included-in-price-of-admission) pass to the planetarium. I have to take off a star because: -The drinks are so overpriced that it's almost insulting. One of the bottles they were pouring from is $7.99 at Safeway (a Mondavi), and they were selling it for $8 for a small glass. I believe in supporting museums, etc., but that's just stupid. Come on. -The music was way too loud, and some of it was just bad. If people aren't dancing, at least turn it down enough to let us talk! Overall it's a good value, though. I'm sorry I didn't arrange to meet other rateclubers there~!
