We were going to attend a event here called Dayglow and decided to stop by to ask about purchasing tickets. They had several security guards outside and they were okay not the friendliest around but they answered all our questions. They told us to arrive at the event around 11pm in order to purchase tickets. Upon arriving at 11pm there were people everywhere and policemen blocking the entrance. They were not allowing anymore people into the event even if we had advanced tickets. Nothing was organized and outside Webster hall people were going crazy. I wish it would have been a better experience because I heard Webster hall was a very nice place, however, all we got to see was the entrance and not able to get in.

Beautiful people, great decor, overpriced drinks. I've been to Ella twice now. First time was on a Thursday around 9pm and the place was completely empty. The bartender was bored and was able to give me a lesson on mixing good cocktails which was cool. However the cocktail he made wasn't really that good. The next group of people were some girls trying to be models with a group of 40 year old men trying to impress them. Between 11/1130 the place filled up. Not even sure where all the people came from. Music got louder and there was dancing downstairs. Second visit - Saturday night around 11, the bouncer at first looked at us skeptically but then was joking around with us. Place was already pretty busy. Music was good and people were fun, house vodka drinks were 9$. The downstairs was sadly closed. Turns out it was the owners bday, I can't really complain about that, if it was my bday and I owned this place I would also be having a private party down there. I like everything about this place, even the expensive drinks serve their purpose of keeping young and sketchy people out, I will def return!
