by Heather H. on I was lured in here by a show. It's a lovely space, really, it is. And the bartenders are actually pretty damn decent at what they do. But, I couldn't shake the feeling that I was standing in the bar of a Mandarin Oriental hotel. It had that hotel bar feel, someplace foreign. Maybe it was the Eurotrash? The doucheoisie? Not that hotel bars in Mandarin Orientals are bad things. I just wish I could have retreated to my room with an oversized, overplush king size bed and a plushy robe and slippers, or visited the lovely spa facilities. Instead, I had to take the train back to Bushwick. Sigh. So. Multiple stars for a damn fine negroni ($12), an easy drink-- like a martini-- that so many bartenders manage to screw up. Stars for prettiness. Depending on the night, and the other customers, you might have a very nice time here.
by Theola Swigart on Got here kinda late, about 12:45am, I don't go to clubs early...what for? Anyways, I dont think they let people in this late but my cousin is really cool with a lot of the promoters and such, my girls and I got in and went straight to the roof top. This was our first time here and my cousin's recommendation did not fail us. I guess it's like an invite only thing to get up onto the roof top but if you do get up there..it's simply amazing. We did give the other floors a visit but found ourselves back up top...had a really good time here, im sure I'll be back soon
