L to the A to the M to the E! I came in a group of 7 girls so we got in right away, but a bouncer was trying to pull me aside and "talk" with me in private. Oh, you mean you want a BJ, right? HECK NO! Let me see here, you're herded in like cattle, the dancefloor is way too small and the music is blasted way to loud with too much trebble,(my eardrums are still ringing) the DJ played 10 seconds of each song before "mashing" (if you could call it that) with another, and no one in the place knew how to smile. Seriously, it looked like everyone there was unhappy. Pretentious pricks they are. My girls and left to Cabana (and I kept getting manhandled by fobs, but lets save that for another review)

Given the NYC "concert venue" options- I rather enjoy Webster Hall. BUT- I'm not sure I would go to see any other type of band than "rock." Drinks are pricey and WHAT is up with only having one bartender at the side bar? I probably wouldn't go here if it wasn't for a SHOW... as a CLUB it would get rather annoying (the one bathroom and all.)

Went here on a Wednesday night so I can't speak for the weekends. I liked it. Being a Norcal native, it really did feel like SF. The interior, the ambience, the people all had that SF feel to it.. Everybody was minding their own business and doing their own thing instead of people watching. Laid back atmosphere. Beer selection is quite good. The burger was very good. The fries were soggy. My friend had some very good buffalo wings with a standard salad. The place itself is a of split between a restaurant and bar. It kind of reminded me of TGIF in restaurant/bar feel it has. The lamps also reminded me of TGIF. As for the service, I would agree with previous reviews. Its not that they are rude, its that they are soooo slow. Overall, I really liked it to get away from that LA feel.
