by Greg C. on Took my wife here for her birthday last night. Had a blast. Had two VIP tables right next to the DJ. Marina was easy to work with, she's the sales director at Slide/Ruby. Not the cheapest..probably dropped close to a grand on 3 bottles. One thing was sort of weird...when I signed off the receipt at the front door, the bouncer wouldn't let me put a final amount on the actual receipt. He said "don't worry about it...we won't charge you extra." Thought it was a bit sketchy, but since it was American Express there is always the chargeback policy. The people here are a bit more friendly, not as rough as other clubs. Will be back for more fun next month! Great place to entertain clients and out of town-guests.
by Celinda Barera on Given the NYC "concert venue" options- I rather enjoy Webster Hall. BUT- I'm not sure I would go to see any other type of band than "rock." Drinks are pricey and WHAT is up with only having one bartender at the side bar? I probably wouldn't go here if it wasn't for a SHOW... as a CLUB it would get rather annoying (the one bathroom and all.)

Were it not for you throwing your 1st anniversary party here, I never woulda happened upon this bitchin' venue.* Well done, Nick E. and all your cohorts, y'all really threw a killer shindig. Project One is the ideal place to hold a large event, conducive to all kinds of people: your boozebags are happy with the well-stocked bar, your movers-and-shakers can get loose on the dance floor, and your artsy-types can try to explain to me why a 2"x2" painting of a cartoon bird replicated 50 times around a gallery with variations such as, oh, turning it 90 degrees really gives it a whole new meaning. Would definitely go back for another event- possibly an Elite event, hint hint nudge nudge know what I mean? *Also, I wouldn't be the proud owner of a naughty balloon poodle (careful, he's a humper).
