by Jere Boddorf on Friend had a birthday here and the bouncers pretty much forced her to buy bottle service for $600 to get her friends in. When she had called earlier they said that there is no guestlist, but when we got to the door the bouncers said it was $600 BECAUSE we weren't on the nonexistent guestlist. So she ended up having to pay that amount which was a pretty shitty start to the night. Then we go down and the place isn't even half full. Slide is SO exclusive...that they won't even let enough people in to fill the dance floor! Unless they pay a lot of money on the spot. Interesting strategy. Can't say that it makes the patrons happy though. One of my friends got her purse stolen which had her camera phone credit card etc. Not. Cool. Throughout the night more birthday guests tried to get in but the bouncers wouldn't let them in without all of us standing outside and hassling them for half hour increments. I don't understand why even after buying a $600 table, the birthday girl STILL couldn't get her friends in? It gets one star because when you come with smaller groups it's usually free. oh and a part of that one star is decent music. seriously though, that night was such a bust.
by jamie q. on After reading the reviews on rateclubs I went to Infusion with the pre-conceived notion that I would have a less than average expirience however this time around I was some what wrong. Although tool academy was in full effect last night with their overly jelled hair, embroirdered dress shirts, and white dress shoe I managed to have a good time after a few drinks. The cover was a bit much. I cant recall the last time I paid $20 to get in to a club. The guestlist line was extremely long so arrive early. The drinks were well made. One drink I was good to go. The dj was pretty on point and played a variety of music. Will I go here again? Probably not. Not my scene and cover was a bit much however I dont think it was as bad as everybody wrote.

The drinks are ridiculously expensive and unless you know someone on the inside or are rolling with a ratio of 5:1 girls to guys, you're not going to get in. The club is pretty small and the dance floor is mediocre at best. It's still a fun time, but nothing spectacular than another Hollywood club couldn't offer.
