Came here for dinner last night with friends, and we had a great time. However, a few complaints: - the food was probably good - if we could eat enough of it to get a good taste. The sliders were the size of a half dollar, and an order of prawns included only three. - I wasn't happy with my white martini, but my friend's mojito was quite tasty. - the bathrooms are icky. One had a full urinal with an out of order sign, and the other had toilet seat covers soaking up a spill on the floor. The saving graces: - the wonderful service from the extremely personable, attentive waitstaff (especially Greg) - the mussels in white wine broth. The mussels were generously portioned, tender and perfectly cooked, the broth was bursting with flavor, and the grilled bread they served with it was brushed with some heavenly combination of butter and beer. Broth + bread = ambrosia. Seriously. Order extra bread. I might come back just for the mussels, or for drinks and nibbles before heading out to dinner, but that's about it.

I found myself on a photo assignment here for the Gloss party. I was impressed with the large bar and who doesn't love hawt go go dancers. It is a perfect addition to castro. The place was packed, everyone was festive and friendly. The DJ was keeping the party going, the staff was friendly. The large half circle sofa is great for a large group.

I went to this dumpy bar last night for a birthday party.  While standing near the bar, a bartender jumped over the bar, kicking me in the face.  As I was drinking at the time, the glass slammed into my teeth and gums, causing them to bleed.  When I approached the bartender, he informed me that he owned the bar.  He explained that he would not aplogize, and that I was a "pu**y" for complaining about the bleeding gums he gave me.  He then had me thrown out of the bar (where all of my friends were gathered for the party), while screaming across the room "this guy's a f"in pu**y." Not only will I never go back there, but I am filing a lawsuit this week for damages and would strongly discourage anyone from stepping foot in here.
