by Darcey Pawlicki on I think this club goes for the exclusive feel; I hear that they have a slow process of letting people in, and randomly stop the lines. We came here on Thursday night and I thought it was pretty dead, but it was only 1030pm. After midnight, the place was pretty damn packed, like shoulder-to-shoulder crowded. The lounging bottle service areas with the fancy couch looking things encircle the main dance floor. I honestly don't remember the music too much, but I hear they play a lot of house music here. On a slightly higher plane above the dance floor, there's the main bar, that has a counter that goes completely around. There's also a small upstairs section above, where they play mostly hip hop. I personally liked the vibe & feel of this club. It's not huge like Kress (which is across the street), but it's not as low-key as just a lounge. It's somewhere in between with a very modern/contemporary look and it seems like they try their best to keep the place clean.
by Tee P. on Dated back 9 months ago. Stupid Feel. Why did u serve me too much Soju. How the hell am I supposed to enjoy my birthday when I'm on the floor plastered. ON A TUESDAY NIGHT for crying out loud. (so embarrassing) On the other hand, I like you because you're cleaner than other karaoke spots, you have nicer rooms, you serve food and a variety of drinks and you're prices are purty decent (like I actually remember). Oh, and did I mention you're oh so cool wigs that I won't touch unless I'm really drunk because I don't know how many lice infested head it's been on. j/k. Not. -1 star for not having some of my all time fav' songs. I will be back. But in disguise. =)
by Meghann Eppenger on The EndUp is Rocking!!! Open hours after most other places, usually well into the next day, it is full of party people that know how to have a good time. If you're the sort of person that still has energy and wants to have fun when nearly everyone else is ready to go to bed near the next day then you will definitely fit into The EndUp. The cool thing is that there are often different crowds there on different days... Its very accepting of everyone, including the gay culture, but isnt a cliche club of gays only, far from it in fact. Everyone blends in and mixes together and generally accepts each other differences a la SF. Besides all this I would go just for the set out. I dont think Ive been to another club where it is so well thought out and made for longevity. There are places to chill out in the music and also play pool, the usual crowded dance spaces (with some real slick beats) but also an open patio where everyone socializes and gets to know each other. The waterfall in corner is perfect too for when your frazzled and need to regroup. See you there! :)
