1 star only because of the music. The space was tight, uncomfortable and way too hot. We were #5/6 jammed into 4 person table, which was the same throughout the entire space. I literally felt like I was on Broadway watching the Macy's T Day parade. The drinks were average and way overpriced. It made the Jazz experience, no fun and left before the set ended. I just wasn't worth the hassle. Never again

3 stars for the margies, 2 stars for the food. Why? The food is expensive and just OK. $9.99 for 3 tacos with soggy shells? I mean, shells so soggy I couldn't even eat them with my hands, which lets face it, is the fun of tacos? Not so cool with me. The saving grace of these meat-in-flour-tortillas-I-ate-with-a-fork is the filling. I had pollo which was moist, very spicy and really juicy. My dinner companions had the short rib tacos which looked good on paper and I'm told were not so good to eat. The comment from both girls was that the ribs were a bit dry. The rice and black beans served along side these "meat shells" were quite good; my white rice was a faint yellow (which you know means they made it with olive oil, like any good Spaniard) and v. fluffy. Now, the chips, salsa, guac. and margies are a different story. I could come here, post up at the bar, and just nosh and drink for several hours. I had the Texas margarita, my pals had the mango and strawberry. All were v. good and v. strong. We left there after 2 rounds plus food and were a bit tipsy. The tables turn pretty quickly at Pure, so don't let the long wait by the tour deter you. We go there at 8:20, and 20 mins later were seated. The service is also lightning fast. I blinked and had my drink, turned my head and the guac. was on the table and could barely finish a sentence before the food was served. It's really that fast. Enjoys!!
