Meaty middle-aged men pretending to be 20 years younger and 20lbs thinner. Pretentious bartenders who charge $12 for a gin and tonic that contains no alcohol. The highlight of the night might just have been the obese B&T dude rocking a baseball cap and T-shirt, double-fist pumping in some poor girl's face. Maybe you like this sort of place. Me? Not so much.
by Blair Hollow on I will start off by saying that we only had drinks here, so I can't speak for the food. To begin, many of the cocktails here are served in little mason jars -- cute idea, but when I'm paying almost $10 for a drink, I'd like something a little more substantial. Also, the table we were sitting at was TINY with TINY little chairs (that were high off the ground w/ no foot rests, which was rather uncomfortable). After ordering nearly $60 worth of drinks (2 drinks each), my friends and I were socializing and attempting to sober up a little before driving home. After about 20 minutes of finishing our drinks, the waitress told us we needed to leave if were weren't going to order anymore drinks (which by the way, when we DID order drinks, they would always take at least 15 minutes to come out). I understand her wanting to have customers who are going to continue to buy drinks, but at the same time the three of us just spent a decent amount of money on over-priced drinks. I think we deserved a little time to sit around and socialize afterwards. The atmosphere of the place was nice, but I'll probably never go back.
