by Sergio C. on The Endup is a great place to enjoy house music all night and well into the sunrise. The place has an unpretentious vibe to it, which makes the evening really about the music, the love and the fun. My favorite night to go is Friday for Ghettodisco. The night runs from 11P-11A, so you really could get your party on for hours. The crowd changes throughout the night as do the DJ's. The crowd is a fun mix of gay/straight/drag/hot messes/fun messes and chill people. You really get the feeling of being in an underground basement house party where the primary focus is the music. Hawthorne plays sexy soulful house, that makes you want to let go of your worries and just dance the night away. The other DJ's usually throw in some circuit and electro to mix the sounds up and take you on a different musical journey. Going on a Friday, is committing to fun night. Sunday mornings are also fun. You could wake-up, get ready and have some good music for breakfast. If you want a chill, non pretentious clubbing experience, go to The Endup.
by Gregory R. on Unless you're one of the beautiful people (not me), are willing to drop $1,500 on a table (not me), or know someone who has access (me!) good luck working the velvet rope at this place. A huge throng of scantily clad ladies and the d-bags that are always sniffing around them are waiting at the entrance trying to get in with good reason. The interior is a huge Vegas style club with a cranking scene and, you guessed it, a lot of beautiful people. It doesn't matter if you cruise the balcony area that rings the club or get down and dirty in the middle of the dance area on the lower level, unless you don't know how to enjoy yourself you're going to have a blast at this place. One complaint - you expect to pay through the nose for drinks at this type of place, but $14 for a mini shot of Jager seems excessive. C'mon bartender, fill up that shot glass! Your massive jugs spilling out of that halter top that is three sizes too small aren't distracting me from the fact that I'm getting ripped off! If you can't get into LIV you can always enjoy a drink at the very cool Bleau Bar located in the hotel lobby near the entrance. Sit back and enjoy your drink bathed in pastel lights, engage in a little people watching, and smell the desperation of the people trying to get in.
