by Rahil S. on Probably the best night club in boston on a Friday night, for the sole reason that they dont like to super pack the place. Other night clubs love to over crowd the place but not saint. Crowd is great and drinks are fairly priced and strong ($8 for a captain and coke). Music is great. Main room is usually top 40's and side room is hip-hop. Best way to get in the club is via a promoter. I called Ricken at 6174125198. He got us in for reduced rates, cut the lines and got us free drinks. Overall great music, great drinks and great service.
by Huey Spulick on Giving these guys four stars mostly for great service.....We got there on a busy Thursday put our names in the hat and were told approx. 25 mins. It turned out to be 10 mins. I hate it when they underestimate - time to table, Pure did not. Also, whilst waiting for our table we walked over to the crowded bar and were immediately given a menu and and asked for our drink order from an attentive bar tender. Food wasn't too bad nothing too spectacular either...the free chips and dip was great. Also they have a 1.25 can beer black label which is awesome for the money. Bottom line fun place. Just one big complaint too much noise - loud music, lots of people and no sound dampening material in largely concrete tile box. I could hear very little from the person sitting accross from me.
by Malcom Ouellette on Brunos is a STAPLE spot. It is a total "I dunno know, what do you want to do" spot. Cover: $10 after 10pm. Kinda sux so get there at 9:45pm Crowd: ALWAYS well mixed (meaning ethnicities, equal amount of boys/girls, and types of people). Space: Front portion is a large BAR. A few loungey areas to chill, but mainly a big table in the middle to set drinks on. Next room is a small ( usually private party) room. The next room is for the dancers! Same type of music just open space to dance and benches to chill bc it gets WAAAAAY to hot up in there! Upstairs is also usually private but has a stripper pole!!!! Different scene for sure if you get that spot! Drinks: Stiff...if you order a normal mixed drink (gin/tonic, rum/diet, vodka/tonic). If you get one of those frufru ones then it will be obviously less potent. GREAT deal for all of them especially on Friday nights (i want to say they do a happy hour price all night long) but even on Sat a decent amount especially for a hot spot in SF. 3 bars total in this spot....thats really good considering the sqft of the place. Music: Old school hip hop and top 40. Perfect to get your grove on. Id prefer to stay in the bar rather than the crowded dancing room...I get a liiiitttllle agitated when sloppy drunks continually bump/dance into me with their full drinks splashing everywhere. Overall, I've never left Brunos on a bad note. Everyone there (including the staff) just want to have a good time. I have yet to see any drama go down here. PLUS....girls can come in flip flops!!!! YEAH RIGHT ON TIME FOR THE SUMMER!
