It was my son's 14th birthday, and he wanted to go to Flip, so we conceded, even thought the tiny burgers cost a small fortune and do not come with a side. All good til there. Service was good, but what really got to me was when I called ahead and asked if we could bring a cake for the birthday boy, they said sure, but they charge $1-25 per slice! What? I own a restaurant, and have never and will never do that. That is a really low blow. My customers would be rateclubsing all day long if I did that! Will not be rushing back.

I've been wanting to come here for years since this place is my dream business. A cafe by day, bar by night, with a gorgeous interior and a sleek look to it...this is my plan for after my main working life is over and I can afford to make a small shop my life. I came here last night for a goodbye party and was digging the vibe from the start. Even as busy as it was, it didn't seem overcrowded or jam packed like a lot of bars. I had a delicious cocktail which featured Ketel One Citroen and some kind of matcha green tea with triple sec and a couple other liqueurs. Tasty! $10 a pop, not the cheapest, but the service was good too. I'm very excited to come back for the pastries and coffee. I think you'll like this place too!
