Went on Sunday for the Labor Day party, it was extremely crowded. 2 hour wait to get in, and once you get in you can barely move. We were in front of the guestlist line, but apparently if you don't know a promoter you will be left standing there. Price to get in became $30 for guys AND girls.. (since when did a LA club become a wannabe of Vegas?) Drinks were pretty strong. $13 for a tokyo tea which isn't that bad.. and there's this area that smells like bbq.. oh.. someone farted on the dance floor, which caused everyone to move away pretty quickly. LOL. I guess that's the easiest way to move around in this crowded place. My suggestions.. don't go during a holiday weekend. Don't go on Asian night.. actually.. just don't go at all. I will never come back again. However, have to admit it is a cool name for a club. Everyone always jokes about it.

date? wednesday, 8/5. time? 7:30PM. intent? to get VERY loaded at a friend's goodbye party. sadly, due to the mad painkillers for a bum ankle (thanks alot, UT), i did not get sauced - sure wish i could because there were some sweet specials. however, our little rowdy group may have possibly done the following: 1) devoted an entire album of "unique" pictures with my fan on FB. 2) unloaded the contents of wednesday's lunch into the one of the two bathrooms.* 3) after trying NOT to make eye contact for 1.5 hours, ran into a guy that we dated once ... and then had an awkward conversation about why we never called on the way out. yeah, yeah, it was totally ME, not YOU ... and your boring ways. who says alkie's necessary for a good time?** * - classy. ** - tear.

Hill-Bert's was there when I needed them - but I was a little disappointed. So.....I was out at TJ Maxx on Brodie (a big favorite of mine) 9:45 at night and my car won't start. Luckily I had signed up for AAA this year ( due to 3 older cars in the family). The guy came quickly and got me jumped - (Yea for AAA) but suggested that I drive around for 15-20 minutes. Home isn't that far so I just started driving. Then I realized I was really hungry and only a drive through would do - not being able to turn off my car. and all I was up at 35th or so and thought I'd head up Lamar to P-Terrys and then saw Hill-Berts. Yea! I had a good feeling about this. I wanted a grilled cheese. Whaaaat - they make them with a hamburger bun - no crispy outside - -not what I (nor many people) have in mind. In their defense, It was not on the menu and they probably just made it up. Then the onion rings smelled yummy. The smell at H-B is just too hard to resist. but - There was not much onion taste - just kinda greasy. I should have tried the veggie - or maybe fish burger. Oh well......
