by CARLA R. on I've been here on a couple of thursdays just to drink and dance, $10 @ the door (but you have to sign up for some v.i.p card otherwise it's $20) ten bucks to drink all I can from 11 til 1? definitely can't complain. Good music the only downside their dance floor is very small and it gets crowded!
by Michael C. on Had my first time trying Ethiopian food, although I have been meaning to try it for awhile. I went in knowing that I was going to be eating with my hands, but would be creating taco like hand servings of meat and veggies. The ambiance feels very much like a jazz club and it is aptly so for the neighborhood (Fillmore). It was open mic night and there were random local cats who were getting up and on to do their thing. I thought it was pretty good. The service was a little slow, but I could understand why there were a lot of tables already in need of service and only one person who was able to wait the tables. But within about 15 minutes another waitress came out and explained the whole menu she was extremely helpful with wine selection, and how to eat ethiopian food correctly (no utentsils - :D) I would definitely come here again for the food and I would like to see what kind of other entertainment they gather on the weekend. The Salsa club towards the back was sorta distracting the whole night, but it did seem like a lot of fun. Not a bad night!
