I loved this venue. It's super cool. I went to an event here on saturday thrown by skills. Return of tronic. The party it self was amazing! but of course this will be about the venue so I'll leave how awesome the event was out of it. As soon as I walked in i was in awe. I loved the set up outside with the DJ and the ocean was RIGHT THERE! then you go up the stairs and you get to a bar right away, you can walk around and theres at least 4 bars that are easily accessible.  I loved how u can get really close to the stage and the dance floor is big enough to dance on.  There is a lounging area..enough to sit inside and outside. Glass windows made it so you can sit out and look in on all the sexy dancers or you can dance in and look out at the beautiful view. The staff was nice...they were serious but they were just doing their job.  I loved everything about it.. I would definitely come back!!

I went once on a Friday night. This is the place to go if you want to get your shoes trampled on and get drinks spilled on you. People were just walking around with no regard for personal space, bumping around aimlessly. Aside from a few, the shorties were straight ditzballs. And I couldn't count the times I was about to yoke up one of the numerous drunk as hell, gelled faux-hawk wearing, no rhythm having, Fast & the Furious racing, Jabbawockeez-looking, douches in there. But the music was cool. I'd go again, but only if I was drunk to the point where I could step on people's shoes and spill drinks on them too.

I was all set to hate on this spot. Stop by on a weekend night and the pretension is palpable but the views of the city from the rooftop deck are pretty amazing. I usually only visit early in the afternoon to avoid the "typical" crowd you will find here after dark. The food was actually bad. I don't think Humus is supposed to ferment do you? I tried both of their "signature" cocktails and I've found it best to stick draft beers.  No offense to the "Hot little number" mixing drinks behind the bar every time I come in but I have  yet to sample anything that made me crave another. I'm a glass half full type of guy so I prefer to think that my dashing good looks and animal magnetism fluster her and she just can't get the proportions right but I've got quite an imagination so a more realistic take would be for me to recognize that I am a lush and can no longer taste the alcohol. (So what if it's a run on sentence. if you can say it all without taking a breath it's all good) Medjool gets two stars for the views.
