POWER TRIP!!!! DON'T EVER GO TO WEBSTER HALL! I MEAN NEVER! I NEVER written a review but I was stricken by the situation tonight that I had join rateclubs and give a review. First of all, don't EVER GO HERE FOR A CONCERT!!.  I am an avid concert goer (seen artists from Lady Gaga to Skrillrex), I've been to various places from MSG and Pacha to Roseland Ballroom. However, after what happened tonight,  I will make sure I tell all my friends, friends of friends, other sites and random people to NEVER, I mean NEVER go to an event in WEBSTER HALL. I've attended various concerts in this venue before (Crookers, Skrillrex, etc) Booking agent does an OK job getting good names to this place but he needs to do a better job getting better acts for the artists/djs performing before the marquee act.  In the Crookers concert, I almost WALKED OUT because the previous dj was just TOO AWFUL. The price for drinks it's just RIDICULOUS for the venue.  This place, it's not Radio City Hall(  where I saw MGMT earlier this year) but they somehow demand 2Xs the price of other much classier and better venues. $ 7 for a can of Pabst or $10 for a Corona!?!?!? I mean this is New York but COME ON!!!! Enjoy the PRICEY drinks! The attitude of some bartenders it's  also complimentary so make sure you leave a tip for bothering them for doing their job. 2nd of all, I don't believe the bouncers/staff at WEBSTER HALL are familiar with the concept of CROWD CONTROL. I attended the Crookers concert a few weeks ago. I got there before they opened the main ball room, paid $19 for can of Pabst and a WEAK vodka rebull, and was hanging out in the lower dancefloor for a while. Things got really interesting once I got to the upper ballroom. Once they opened the main room, I made my way up there and was standing on the first row, but soon enough, that was something I soon REGRETTED. People were pushing each other, I mean REALLY pushing each other like it was a mosh pit.  Me and some girls I've met there, were getting crushed repeatedly by the drunken/drugged up crowd around us. When I mean crushed, I mean have 3 or 4 guys  push you against the metal fence.  I put my arm around the girl next, trying to protect her from the idiotic crowd, which meant I got crushed against the fence ( Had a huge bruise on my side for days from getting pushed repeatedly against the fence). At some point, a guy behind us PULLED THE HAIR of the girl standing next to me. The bouncer  behind the fence saw this, me and the girl pointed out it out, but he clearly DID NOT CARE AT ALL.  The pushing and shoving went on for literally 2 hours and it wasn't event 1 am!! We almost left all together but we just moved WAY BACK because everyone was out control and the security people  COULD NOT CARE LESS ABOUT WHAT WAS GOING ON. I've seen people jump the security fence at many concerts and be IMMEDIATELY kicked out of the venue. However, doing stupid stuff like that at WEBSTER HALL, it's just frown upon. I literally saw people get on the speakers and JUMP ON STAGE and the bouncers just grabbed them and put them BACK ON the dance floor. REALLY?!?!? These people obviously are not in any state to be in a concert and you put them back in the crowd?!?! Thank you Security at WEBSTER HALL for NOT DOING YOUR JOB and making sure the whole situation GETS MUCH WORSE. I saw random people get on stage through out the concerts,  WITH THE BOUNCERS LOOKING. Leave it up to WEBSTER HALL to run a VERY UNORGANIZED AND CHAOTIC CONCERT!! Tonight I got there at 12:30 with my prepaid ticket. Stood in line for 25 minutes just to be DENIED ENTRANCE FOR NO REASON AT ALL!!! The flier was clear on having a dress code, which I laugh for because I saw people going in before me WITH FITTED HATS AND JEANS HALF WAY DOWN THEIR LEGS BUT WHATEVER. I wore a jacket with a button down shirt , black jeans and dress shoes, I must have been TOO CLASSY FOR THIS TRASHY JOINT.  The bouncer wrote on my hands NO and would not give any reason why he would not let me in.  He threatened to call security on me for trying to get in for a concert  I HAD BOUGHT MY TICKET 3 WEEKS IN ADVANCED!! After futilely trying to get admittance, which was an overstatement because trying to speak to these people was literally like asking TO GET PUNCHED IN THE FACE, I just left. CONS: - Crowd Control it's a FOREIGN AND MYSTERIOUS term to the security people at WEBSTER HALL. -OVERPRICED! -TRASHY! ( Naked drugged Jersey people crowd at Pacha were classier than the people at WEBSTER) -Security people  could CARE LESS ABOUT DRUGS. While patting down , they found white pills in the pocket of a guy. Security just THREW THEM on the street and let the guy walk in. While I was in the front of a concert at WEBSTER HALL, I saw a guy with 3 vials selling E and what NOT EVEN 10 FT from the very competent security staff Pros: NONE!! STAY AWAY!! A crack house would run a better event. Wish I could give a NEGATIVE feedback!! SERIOUSLY, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!

There is no doubt this is my favorite local bar. The drinks are great, yet reasonably priced. The place is chill, with good music and great vibe. And generally not too packed. In fact, I think I may have head that way right now.

ghetto, little brats everywhere, WAY OVERPRICED. 2 games of bowling + 2 people + 1 cocktail = $50 Yeah, it's a nice bowling alley but with kids everywhere I'm leaving with the ringing in my ears of screaming kids (and HORRIBLE MUSIC, what kind of mix IS that??.. ) The pool is cheap but no thx I'd rather get some quarters and hit up creekside or something.
