I used to love this place when it was Buddha Bar. It's still adequate now. A good spot to take people from out of town who want to go to a sceney place. I've been here both for food and for the club. The food is typical trendy Asian fusion food. The sushi is similar to Tao but I think Tao's is better. The Chilean sea bass is okay, BondST's Chilean sea bass blows this one's out of the water though. The specialty cocktails are yummy. As a club, I've only been here with a table, it was a fun time. You can dance banquettes with your girls but be careful you might have 50 year old men creeping on you!

Venue:  As you enter through the main door, the venue is actually downstairs.  As you reach the bottom of the stairs, a decent size dancefloor is located in front of you.  A large bar is located to your left while tables for bottle service surrounds half of the dance floor. Cover: $20.  As we planned going to Vessel on Friday, March 12th, I started searching for a guestlist ($20 is better spent on alcohol than cover).  I searched Vessel's website as well as other club sites and I came up with nothing, so a useless $20 was spent on cover. Music: I believe DJ Cams was mixing which consisted of mostly hip hop and Top 40's.  I'm a hip hop only fan, so I enjoyed the music. Liquor:  Quite expensive for a club of this size and style.  Drinks/shots ran about $12 each.  2 shots of Remy plus 2 Grey Goose and Vodkas came up to $48.18, in which I'm assuming they're adding on tax when you pay by credit card.  This probably doesn't happen when you pay cash because I don't hear people walking around with a good amount of change in their pocket or handing change over to the bartender... Crowd:  Diverse/mixed crowd but people are quite rude and snobby (thinking constantly running into you without so much as a sorry). Smoking area:  There is a ventilated, indoor smoking room next to the bar in a small room...is that even legal? In the end, I liked the music, the staff seemed nice, but having to pay a cover , expensive drinks, and deal with the stuck up crowd, I don't think I'll be back.
