by Lily T. on I've been here twice. The first time, a friend brought us here, swearing that they had "REALLY good music." She even covered our door cover to make the point. I came back a second time because she of course proved herself to be correct the first time. I paid the $5 cover, begrudgingly still, because... come on, who likes paying cover? In the LES no less. I forked over the money, thinking, "Fine, there goes another $5 I won't be spending at your bar." My friends, on this second visit, had a blast but I didn't get into it as much. I was peeved that we were packed in there like sardines, and probably smelled like them too from the unknown bodies rubbing up against us all night. I repeated to myself that this was one of the best reasons to stay home on weekends--too many damn people. Not only that, but for a good while, I was very vigilant of the stilettos that surrounded me. You see, I was once stepped on really hard by a girl, who could not have weighed more than 100-lbs. If my foot could experience that kind of pain inflicted by a 90+ lbs girl, I am sure as Hell not taking any chances with the 200-lbs girl to my direct right. I don't mean any disrespect, but my feet has gone through a lot all because we like to get a little tipsy once in a while. Intoxicated stilettos have no mercy. So what am I saying? That this place is a hit-or-miss. So why would I want to pay cover for a 50% miss venue?
by Jason Inge on Latin night. Gogo dancers. Is there a six-star option? I've heard that the happy hour is very good. The drinks I had were excellent. Great venue. Great dancers. Great drinks. I'm in!
by Sebastian Nicklien on I liked this place at first. Cool atmosphere and fun crowd. Then, right when we were leaving, the waitress/bartender watched us leaving her tip and said to her friend "they better leave me at least $15." That is NOT a good way to get a good tip, or return business. I was very unimpressed and would be hesitant to go back.
