I LOVE THIS PLACE!! #1: Perfect for a drink before the Alamo Drafthouse. They have a contagious drink menu. #2: Their food is SOOO GOOD. I had their Allandale Salad and it was the most brilliantly concocted salad I've ever had. And, their brownie sundae is DELICIOUS and HUGE. I shared it with a friend and still had to take half of it home. #3: Service is really great. One time I went there with a friend wanting to watch the Home Run Derby on TV and the hostess placed us at a table in perfect line with a gigantic screen for viewing. And every waiter I have ever had there has been great. #4: Atmosphere is really likeable. Yes, it's a sports bar. But it's also a semi-fancy restaurant. I've seen groups of guys in here, co-ed groups, groups of women, romantic dates, friendly dates. People dressed up, people dressed down. Everyone feels comfortable here, and anything goes here. #5: Prices. Because I am a poor, frugal college student, I consider this place a splurge (but that's because I want to get entree + drink + share dessert.) But you could still keep it reasonably priced if you don't over-order. $6: Crowdedness. The parking lot is always crowded... One time I was there and I had to park near the Alamo Drafthouse next door because there was no parking in front of Cover 3, and the restaurant was almost empty. Another time, I got a spot in front of the restaurant and the place was so busy we had to wait for a table. Another time, we went in and the place was suuuuper crowded, but we asked to sit outside in the patio area and that was the best thing we did. It was great to sit and drink with a great breeze and enjoy watching the sun go down. So basically, I love this place. You have to try it, no matter what you like. Don't let the "sports bar" title throw you off. You can't miss this place.

Spacious dive bar. There's a pool table, beer pong tables and the quintessential shoot-a-buck-or-something video game. I've got to say it's a nicely set up space, and I spent most of my time here with my friends in the sweet ass back room which has the look of an old school library or smoking room, replete with shelves on the wall filled with old books and comfy old lounge chairs and couches. A waitress came back and got drink orders with good consistency and was very nice, saving me a trip to the bar. The back was a good place to hang out and talk and stay away from the mostly typical college frat boy + groupies crowd playing beer pong. The music was alright too. I'd stop by again if I was in the neighborhood, but I don't think it'll become a destination spot for me.
