"Ooooh, is it that place right next to Red 7?" I was hesitant to post this review because I don't feel like I got to enjoy it to it's full capacity. I'd picked up word of this bar through friends..finally I made way here. It's free week. So I'm running around like a whore who just can't get enough. Jumping from venue to venue. Discovering so many new bands. We were already at Red 7 seeing Cruiserweight and decided when their set was over to go check out beauty bar. It was only a few doors down so---why not? :) Upon having our id's verified, for our beloved drinking purposes, I notice the glass display case. As I'm oohing and aahhing at it from a distance I feel myself excited to get a better look at it. We walk up to it and it was glowing, it was beautiful. :) I thought it was so cool. Large patio, which is always nice. When we entered I suddenly thought to myself.."wow, it's not so big in here". It's small. Or maybe it was just super packed. ;) We enjoyed the band, checked out the bar, pretty snazzy. I'd like to come back on any other regular day and see what it's like. As far as the ''hipsters'' I think I caught this place on a good night. There were many types of people..all very nice and friendly. I'll see you soon Beauty Bar.

12:15 pm on Thursday March 16th, 2007, me and my roomate order the Heart Clogging Appetizer Sampler. 1:30 PM No Sampler in sight -- I start chewing on my hand 1:45 PM Sampler finally arrives with 4 Steak Fries (yes 4 fries), 3 Chicken Wings, 2 Small Chicken Strips, and 3 Cheese Stix (which had no cheese inside).  All for a bargain basement price of $14.00.  It looked like they just grabbed a few of each item off other people's plates.  It's safe to say, that my heart was not even close to being clogged. It really is a shame.  The place is great for watching games (plenty of room, big screen HD plasma  TVs, and comfy seating) and the bartenders and waitresses are really cool (they did buy us a couple drinks for the long ass wait).  The problem here is execution.  Not sure where the management got their training -- Home Depot University?    I mean this is March Madness, you're a sports bar, you would probably hire extra people in the kitchen, right?  The place wasn't even that crowded and the food was taking f'ing forever.  Although, the one wing I did get to eat was so damn good. Busby's get your shit right, and maybe I'll come back.
