by Stephie Z. on The Pros: *Lots of frozen yogurt choices - Peach is tasty *Serve yourself - I paid $2.85 for the perfect amount of yogurt for me and some fruit toppings *Very Clean *Courteous Staff Things I didn't like: *Tart flavor (my fave normally) is not so good here - tastes milky and not very TART *No sample cups sitting out - you can get them from an employee but she stands there with you while you go about tasting *No mochi - one of my absolute favorite toppings on frozen yogurt *Mango was not ripe - nit-picky, I know, but I gotta be honest to myself and you Final verdict: If over this way I would definitely make it a point to get some frozen yogurt from here but I wouldn't go out of my way for it.
by Bertram Mallo on The "Lady K" had some friends in town last night from NYC so we took them dinner (Dosa) and the for drinks at KoKo Cocktails. We hadn't been here before but one member in our party last night suggested we go since he knows the bartender, Richard. This is my kind of place - dark, comfy bar stools, surf movies on the wall, a DJ playing 45s and did I mention the fresh squeezed fruit for the $7 drinks. They also have a great beer menu for those inclined to drink the hops and barley. It was a school night so we had to leave somewhat early but we both said we would be back soon to see Richard the bartender and those great drinks!
