by Lynn D. on Ok, so I have to admit, the tacos here are pretty good. But Taco Tuesdays are an absolute nightmare! If you want to be crammed up against creepy men and annoying girls who are all drunk off of cheap beer, then you'll love Taco Tuesday. I honestly don't see the fun in going to a place with a nightclub type environment (loud music, rude bartenders, expensive cocktails) with extremely bright lights and nowhere to sit. Especially not on a Tuesday night when I just got off work and am looking forward to just relaxing with friends. I would recommend going just for the tacos, as long as you don't mind standing up as you eat them. Also, don't make the same mistake my friends made by ordering Tequila. The bartender reached straight for Patron (even though we hadn't asked for top shelf at all) and charged us a fortune per shot. Never again!!
by Teresa C. on I have been to soooo many events at Cat club over the years. Everything from 1984 to Bondage-a-gogo. The upside is usually the music is very good, and the decor is kinda cool. The downside is that they really, really pack people in there and it is not ventilated well enough, which means that even if you are just sitting down all night and don't touch anybody, you will still walk out with other peoples sweat on you. The cover can also be expensive at times, and the drinks generally aren't very good unless you are lucky enough to know the bartender, but things are very watered down. Also, if you show up anytime after 11:30 be prepared for the bathrooms to be totally foul. Still, there are lots of good events at Cat's and if you are prepared to deal with some of the crap, you can still have a really good time.
