3.5 stars. I broke my own rule and went to a fusion sushi place and only ate rolls. =X I walked in, took in the cool decor, and immediately thought, "Err, this is going to be mediocre food at best." Experience has taught me the best places are the holes-in-the wall, and I'm usually skeptic of swank decor and frou frou. However, I wasn't disappointed! We sat at the conveyor belt and just kept grabbing stuff off as they chugged along happily in front of us. Spicy tuna was a hit, as were the other two rolls we got (which I don't know the names of. They're basically a much better spin-off of the California roll). The plates are color coded so you know how much your particular dish is. It is a bit overpriced for the amount you get (4 pieces), but I wasn't leaving hungry so I was happy. Oh yeah, we also tried the otoro and it was decent. Not great, but I've definitely had worse.

Pat's  vs. Geno's = Pat's FTW! I ordered my cheeesesteak with mushrooms and cheese whiz. The cheese whiz was ok, but definitnely not my favorite ~ the mushrooms are not even sauteed or cooked very well so I think that made my sandwich not as tasty as Pat's. And man were they RUDE ~ my friend sat down while we ordered with a Pat's soda cup in her hand and she got yelled at to move! The nerve! They should be use to people trying BOTH places sicne they are within 50 steps from each other. Will I come back? Only if Pat's is closed I guess... *shrugs or maybe not go at all!

Ahhhhh Bob Bar.  I want to give you 5 stars.  I really, really do.  But you are SO EFFING CROWDED AND SMALL that I can't to be within your glorious walls for more than 20 minutes without being drenched in sweat.   Attractive?  I think not. Oh, and that annoying $5 cover after 11pm.  Yeahhhh it's only $5 but I mean, that $5 could go towards buying a drink.  Or cab fare home.  I realize it's not much compared to other NYC clubs, but I'm a "no-cover" type of gal.  I guess you can't win them all. Bob bar is a good time though.  Just be prepared to wait for a drink and be thrown around the other dancing club-goers.   And if you plan on making this your one and only stop for the night, wear a minimal amount clothing.  I say this so you don't pass out from dehydration and heat!
